Shanties Evening in Birmingham

 The concert in Polish Millenium House will begin at 19:00

 Three polish bands will perform, each representing a different style of shanties. From traditional interpretations shown by a conservative North Wind to almost rock versions by the band Smugglers. Besides them the band The Doorsz will perform making an interesting use of harmonica, an instrument usually heard in country music, as well as a jazz-like bass. We expect other guests, too but they'll be a surprise.

11. October - Saturday

Autumn Shanties in London

 The Meeting on River Thames with concerts of polish shanty bands. We'll "cruise" from classic shanties towards strong rock sounds of sea and ocean music abourd the boat Regalia.

 Bands from Poland will perform: Smugglers, The Doorsz, Flash Creep and North Wind. As well as Ian Woods, an english bard already known to polish community. He will be acompanied by Rejs.co.uk friends from the bands Flash Creep and North Wind creating together a one of a time atmosphere of a shanty-session. Iza Puklewicz will also aid the Smugglers with her fiddle.

 We also expect guests being a surprise for now, however their language may be familiar to your ears.

 Unfortunaely there won't be two ships as we had told before because one of them had to be put in dry dock for repairs. But due to the unfulfilled promises we offer 25% off the price for the next concert all people who come to the meeting in October. A valid ticket from 11. October will be a base for the discount.

 We invite you and ask not to be late. Even tugh everyone should manage to get on time, there's no reason to loose any time of the concert.

 International Shanties Festival organized by Rejs.co.uk in colaboration with Municipal Office of Doncaster and three pubs:

 On the town square in Doncaster from 12:00 you'll be able to participate in a small festival of traditional music, more known on the British Islands as folk music, however with a strong accent on the music of seas and oceans.

 Thanks to us musicians from Poland, England, Ireland, Moldavia and perhaps even Sierra Leone will perform:

 We'll have a good time on the square till the Evening and later everyone will be invited for farther music concerts in the pubs.

From 21:00 the bands will continue to perform in the following pubs:
